Woodland animal sanctuary: summer extravagance is finally here
Woodlands is delighted to host its Summer Extravaganza
Written by Woodlands Animal Sanctuary
It’s finally here! The moment everyone at Woodlands Animal sanctuary has been waiting for – their first open house in over two years. Their summer extravaganza!
With the inauguration of their new cattery, Pedigree Pens, and funded by an incredible grant from the Pets at Home Foundation, this will, they hope, be the boost they desperately need to deplete their funds.
Open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a busy schedule in their main arena, tasty refreshments available all day, games, stalls and their infamous dog show, this year judged by Amy, of The Pets at Home Foundation.
You will be able to meet birds of prey, dance to the sound of live music, test your balance on the inflatable village, or aim for archery and of course, don’t forget, the chance to meet all the animals they have on site and see their new cattery, with all the cats well and truly installed.
With a pavilion for residents, a reception block, a maternity wing, a reception and treatment room as well – these facilities are what the team could only have dreamed of, without the grant from the Foundation. Pets at Home.
However, the daily struggle to secure funds to support the work they do continues and they really hope that you are as excited to see these new facilities as they are to show you them. support as much as possible financially while you are there.
