These adoptable animals are looking for a new home in Lane County

Greenhill Humane Society

Meet handsome Cooper, a polite and sweet 4-year-old boy ready to live his best life. Cooper would thrive in an active family that would take him on many adventures and give him lots of playtime. He enjoys walking around the yard, sniffing all the sniffles, and playing with toys. He loves to walk around and is a very sweet puppy. He would make a wonderful family dog as long as the little ones can respect his space. One volunteer said: “He is so polite on our walks and loves playing with the stuffed toys.”

Cooper has been picky with other dogs, so he should meet all of the canine siblings at the shelter before the adoption to make sure he enjoys their company. He would do better in a house without a cat.

He weighs between 45 and 50 pounds, is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Cooper is also part of the “Spring it Forward with Puppy Love” promotion, so his adoption fee will be reduced by $50 when he finds his form. Cooper is a very affectionate dog who promises to be a faithful companion.

The Greenhill Humane Society is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at 88530 Green Hill Road in Eugene. Cat adoptions are on a first come, limited capacity basis. Adoptions of dogs and specialized species are by appointment. For more information, call 541-689-1503 or visit green-hill.org.
