The Scottish SPCA is desperate for cat foster homes after its center in Glasgow reached full capacity.

The animal welfare charity is looking for kind-hearted locals to come forward and take in rescue cats as they search for their forever families.

Last week we reported how he is currently caring for over 100 kittens and is looking for pet food donations.

The charity has appealed for dry and wet food for kittens and adults to keep pets “happy and healthy”.

In a Facebook post, he said staff are currently trying to find homes for 104 cats, which is putting pressure on the Glasgow branch.

He is now looking for homes with no “big changes planned” that could require a rescue for around six months.

The Scottish SPCA said: “Our center in Glasgow is in urgent need of foster care placements for cats as the centre’s cattery has reached capacity.

“We are looking for foster families who are happy to keep a cat as an indoor cat and who currently have no other cats in their home.

“We are also looking for a sedentary environment for these animals, so no big changes in the house planned like vacations, moving or similar in the next six months.”
