The countdown is now on with just four weeks to go to our One Fun Day event.
I hope you have it marked in your diary – September 5, noon to 4 p.m., here at the Animal Center (PR8 3DW), because it will be an event not to be missed with a lot of fun for the whole family.
We also can’t forget these four-legged friends, as we will also be hosting our annual Fun Dog Show.
Our Fun Dog Show features the best six legged, prettiest dog, prettiest bitch and our favorite, best rescue dog, and many more.
Dogs, of course, are welcome and free and family tickets are £ 5, or £ 2 per adult payable at the door (under 18s must be accompanied by an adult) with free parking available.
The spectacular West Lancs Dog demonstration team will be back with their wonderful performance, which is sure to amaze everyone. We will also be hosting a BBQ with burgers from Brough’s Butchers and buns from Latham’s Bakery; there will be a vegan option available.
The two little penguins will also be back with their delicious Cheshire Farm ice cream. We are currently taking reservations for stand holders for the day selling their home made / handcrafted items, or animal related products.
If you are a company wishing to book, please send an email to [email protected] with a description of what you wish to sell on the same day. All tables cost £ 20 each (or 3m² of space for your own gazebo and tables).
At this time of year, we always find our cattery ready to explode. We currently have a lot of cats looking for their forever home and many more will follow soon.
One of our daughters is the beautiful and fluffy Daisy. Daisy is a very confident and independent girl who knows what she likes. We found her to be a sassy girl who loves to strut around the cattery!
We are looking for a pet-free home for Daisy; it is suitable for living with children aged 10 and over. Daisy is a real character and loves to play a lot and stay active.
We are sure that with patience, understanding and a loving home, Daisy will make a lovely addition to the family. She will definitely entertain you with her daily antics and quirks.
Since Daisy is a girl with long hair, she will need regular brushing to keep her fur in good condition.
As mentioned in a previous article, handsome Mark is still patiently waiting for a home to belong to him. Mark is a loving, handsome boy looking for a grown up pet-free home with children aged 14 and over.
We found that Mark was sometimes a little unsure of himself and could easily be frightened; new homeowners will need to take a gentle approach to building a relationship of trust and love and settling her into her new home. Once he gets to know you, he enjoys your company and will greet you when he sees you coming.
To view the rest of our current cats, please visit our website where you will also find our perfect match request form to apply for one of our adoption ready cats or dogs.
Once we have received your application, a member of our team will contact you to discuss the application process and set you up to meet the cat or dog.
