Iceland launches platinum jubilee food and desserts – Stock up for your street party

Whether you’ve got big party plans that involve the whole neighborhood or you’re not leaving the couch during the blockbuster holiday weekend, here’s how you can make your celebrations delightful.

Shoppers will be able to throw a royal feast on a budget in Iceland for less than £20, including jaw-dropping dessert, party food and party essentials.

The news comes after Iceland announced it was continuing to support The Big Lunch for a second year.

You can pick up six packs of Iceland’s famous party food ranges, which include everything from prawn tempura (£2.00, 130g) to sticky chicken skewers (£2.00, 181g), in its 3 deal for £5.

Customers can also get their hands on a jaw-dropping classic dessert like Icelandic Jubilee Victoria Sponge (£2.00, 345g).

Buyers can also add the following snacks and beverages to their Jubilee Party offer:

  • Two bottles of soft drinks in its two for £4 offer, such as Coca Cola Zero Sugar (£2.75, 3l) and Pepsi Max No Sugar Cola Bottle (£2.25, 3l)

  • A pack of Walkers Classic Variety Multipack Crisps (£2.75, 12x25g)
  • A bag of Swizzels Loadsa Sweets (£1.00, approx 18pk)

All for £17.75 on the Iceland website and the option to add part of the £1.00 value range for just £20.00.

The Jubilee range from Iceland also includes chicken bites, chicken rolls, sandwich fillings and a range worth £1 to help you pull it all off for your Jubilee themed party.

The supermarket has also created unique food items designed to live up to the royal occasion, including Jubilee Chicken Wreaths (£3.00, 511g).

Its £1 value range includes all the snacks guests could ask for and means your celebrations don’t have to break the bank.

The range includes a thin and crispy double pepperoni pizza (£1.00, 334g) with countless other variations to suit all taste buds.

There are also multipacks on offer to make your money work harder, such as Walkers Classic Variety Multipack Crisps (£3.50, 22 x 25g).

You can’t forget some sweet treats, add Haribo Tangfastics Bag (£1.00, 175g) and Vimto (£1.00, 2l) to your basket for £1 each.

If time is on our side, Iceland also has a range of £1 popsicles to enjoy the scorching celebrations such as Rocket Lollies (£1.00, 480g), Strawberry and Vanilla Cones (£1.00, 372g) and Chocolate and Nut Cones (£1.00, 372g).
