Cornwall Development Applications: Week Ending May 8 | Part 3

Various planning applications have been validated by Cornwall Council and the associated documents can be viewed online on the Council’s planning portal.

You can search for planning applications, decisions, appeals and executions by keyword, application reference, postal code or by a single line of address.

There were a lot of nominations, so the list was split into three separate items.

Part Three planning applications validated week during the week starting Monday, May 2, can be found below:

  • 4 Gabriel Street, St Ives, Cornwall TR26 2LU: Alterations to existing storefront and internal alterations to provide combined access to studio and maisonette above.
  • Land adjacent to 1 Ledra Close, Cadgwith, Ruan Minor, Helston, Cornwall TR12 7LD: Matters reserved for access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale following consent PA21/11037 for construction of a new home.
  • The Caravan, Paradise Cottage, Wheal Hope, Goonhavern, Truro, Cornwall TR4 9QJ: Planning permission with all issues reserved for replacement accommodation.
  • Land east of Dolphins Barn, Dobbin Close, Trevone, Padstow, Cornwall PL28 8QS: New accommodation.
  • Churchtown Farm, Vicarage Hill, Davidstow, Camelford, Cornwall PL32 9XT: General purpose farm building for forage storage.
  • 10 Frances Street, Truro, Cornwall TR1 3DN: Demolition of existing rear structures to the original main buildings and expansion from the rear of 9 and 10 Frances Street to form eight residential units. Internal adaptation of the existing residential unit above the current commercial areas with modification of condition 2 of decision PA20/07344.
  • Brenton House, Drakewalls, Cornwall PL18 9EL: Application for non-material modification in relation to decision PA21/11974 for the elevation of the flat part of the dormer roof approved.
  • Lamorran House, Upper Castle Road, St Mawes, Truro, Cornwall TR2 5BZ: Retrospective application for use of Lamorran Gardens three days a week – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday – during the Gardens’ opening season (1 April to September 30).
  • Crabbers Rest, Lansallos Street, Polperro, Cornwall PL13 2QU: Change of ground floor use from residential to commercial use as a shop (Class E).
  • Mount Whistle Farm, Mount Whistle Road, South Tehidy, Cornwall TR14 0HU: Touring caravan pitch for use as holiday accommodation.
  • 9 Foundry Lane Hayle Cornwall TR27 4ER: Installation of roof windows; replacement windows and doors; formation of a new window; deletion of the existing window; and modifications to an existing window opening to form a door.
  • Former nuclear bunker north of Lavender Cottage, Pednavounder, Coverack, Helston, Cornwall TR12 6SE: Conversion of farm building into holiday rental.

  • 32 Fore Street, Lostwithiel, Cornwall PL22 0BN: Alterations to provide new toilets and tea room (mixed use A1 and A3) with removal of Condition 4 re Decision C2/01/01244 (relating to a surface limit on the ground authorized to be used for food purposes).
  • Eales Barn, A388, Carkeel, Cornwall PL12 6NR: Listed Building Permission for extension to existing barn. New terraced swimming pool and garden in the existing garden.
  • 23 Tehidy Road, Camborne, Cornwall TR14 8TD: Single storey ground floor extension to the side of the property and a first floor extension to the rear of the property.
  • 123 Killigrew Street Falmouth Cornwall TR11 3PX: Pre-application advice for garage removal and construction of two storey house.
  • Trederow Farm, Botus Fleming, Cornwall PL12 6NH: Conversion of milking parlor to single family dwelling.
  • The Flat, Douglas Pooley, 103 Trelowarren Street, Camborne, Cornwall TR14 8AW: Demolition of a building and construction of two apartments.
  • Little Carines, Cubert, Cornwall TR8 5ET: Conversion of an existing barn into a one bedroom annex adjacent to the main residence with the removal of Condition 3 of Decision PA21/05768.
  • Trerethern Barn Padstow Cornwall PL28 8LE: Conversion of a barn into a dwelling house and associated works.
  • Land South West of Tolgus Vean Farmhouse, Tolgus, Redruth, Cornwall TR15 3SS: Construction of 60 dwellings with associated gardens, parking and landscaping and vehicular access from U6046. Approval of reserved matters (access, appearance, landscaping, plan and scale) in accordance with planning permission PA18/06071.
