Blue Cross center creates play area for Bengal Jasper cat

A RESCUE center has gone to great lengths to ensure that a demanding Bengal cat has a happy stay until they find a forever home.

The eight-year-old Bengal named Jasper was handed over to the Blue Cross center in Thirsk after his owners could no longer care for him.

Bengal cats are extremely active and to keep Jasper happy and busy the center gave him extra space and set up an adventure playground for him.

He includes plenty of scratching posts, hiding places, and gear he can climb and explore to help his physical and mental health as the association searches for a new home for him.

Lucie Wainwright from the center said, “Jasper is a cat with a high need to keep him happy and healthy, so we made sure we could meet him while he was with us at the cattery.

“He’s a busy boy and he would quickly become frustrated if he had nothing to do.

“He enjoys his playground and particularly enjoys fishing for toys in his paddling pool and playing with feather toys. ”

Jasper needs a house with lots of space and anyone interested in him can visit.
